Employment Law Service

The Employment Law Service can give advice in relation to unfair, unlawful and constructive dismissal, workplace bullying, discrimination matters, underpayment and workplace injuries.

Caxton Legal Centre produces the booklet Have you lost your job? which clients should read before attending the service.

People with employment law matters can attend the evening legal advice sessions three nights per week. The sessions run on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights and no appointment is needed. Clients should arrive between 6pm and 7:30pm and are advised to call the Centre the day they intend to come in to check whether an employment lawyer will be in that night.

A limited number of appointments are available through the Employment Law Service for clients genuinely unable to attend the evening sessions. Contact our office on (07) 3214 6333 for an appointment.
