Volunteering

Solicitors
Caxton Legal Centre desperately requires qualified family and employment lawyers to provide legal advice to our clients on a roster basis, one or two evenings a month.

Benefits of volunteering include inclusion in the Centre's referral list, reduced prices for Centre publications and training programs and invitations to special volunteer events - all while helping disadvantaged people in our community.

For further information please call our Volunteer Coordinator Jane Guerin on (07) 3254 1811 or email jane@caxton.org.au .

Student Volunteers
We are not currently recruiting for student volunteers. Please check this site regularly to see when this situation changes.

Volunteer Authors
Caxton Legal Centre also relies on volunteers to contribute to its publications, particularly the Lawyers Practice Manual. If you would like to author or update a chapter in this respected looseleaf service, please contact our Publications and Promotions Coordinator. All authors are entitled to a free subscription (valued at $1500 per year).
